Vanitas

Inspired by Pier-Paolo's fascination with the residual beauty of all that fades, these pieces freeze moments of life under the gaze of hypnotic skulls. A petal suspended from metal still carries the thrill of flight, and a gold snake sheds its scales to be reborn. Wild mallow, larkspur, white trillium and parrot tulips bloom alongside oval lapis lazuli cabochons, turquoise pearl, aventurine, faceted glass and faceted crystal.
